Standing Calf Stretch

A staggered-stance stretch that lengthens the calf by pressing the rear heel down with the back leg straight.

Instructions

  1. 01

    Step one foot back into a staggered stance.

  2. 02

    Keep the back leg straight and the heel pressed down.

  3. 03

    Bend the front knee and lean your weight forward.

  4. 04

    Hold for 20 to 30 seconds, breathing steadily.

  5. 05

    Switch sides and repeat.
