Straight-Bar Cable Front Raise

Instructions

  1. 01

Attach a straight bar to a low cable pulley and stand facing away from the machine with the cable running forward past your legs.

  2. 02

Hold the bar with an overhand grip, hands about shoulder-width apart, arms hanging straight down in front of your thighs.

  3. 03

Keep the elbows almost straight and the core braced so the torso does not lean back.

  4. 04

Raise the bar forward in a smooth arc until it reaches shoulder height.

  5. 05

Lower it under control back to the thighs and repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Choose a load and range you can control. These instructions are general guidance, not a substitute for individual coaching.
